OREANDA-NEWS. MARF has admitted to trading a project bond issue by Sociedad Concesionaria Autovia de la Plata – the concessionary company of the section of 49 kilometres of the A-66 between Benavente y Zamora, in Spain, called Autovia de la Plata.

The total volume of the issue is €184.5 million, with maturity of 25.5 years and a 3.169% coupon and it has received a BBB rating by Standard & Poors. With this issue Sociedad Concesionaria Autov?a de la Plata refinances all its debt.

HSBC, BBVA and Banco Santander are acting as Joint Bookrunners of the issue. BNP Paribas Trust Corporation UK will be the Bond Trustee, and BBVA will be acting as payment agent. Intermoney Valores is the Registered Adviser in MARF for this issue, which is geared to qualified investors specialising in infrastructure investments.

The bonds’ legal regime is the British Law and the documentation has been fully produced in English. The design and legal advice for the transaction has been entrusted to the legal firm Allen & Overy, which has acted as the legal advisor to the underwriters and the trustee in relation to the English and Spanish legislation; and J&A Garrigues and Mayer Brown International have advised the issuer on Spanish and English Law issues, respectively.

This issue confirms the versatility offered by MARF for the issuance and registration of fixed income securities and the opportunities offered to companies by today’s bond markets - particularly in long-term infrastructure financing operations -where issuers are benefiting from historically good market conditions.

The shareholders of the company launching the issue are the consortium made up of Meridiam Infrastructure Finance II (50%), Acciona Infrastructuras (25%) and Cintra Infraestructuras (25%).
