OREANDA-NEWS. Dr. Louis-Paul Wicki, a long-standing member of the Group Executive Management, will be leaving CREALOGIX at his own request at the end of August in order to face new challenges in consulting and university education.

Wicki joined CREALOGIX in 2000 to support the management team when the company went public. He was appointed to Group Executive Management in the same year. During his 15-year tenure, Wicki has left his stamp on the company, most recently in the growing Education division, which achieved a leading market position in Switzerland under his leadership.

CREALOGIX would like to thank Wicki for all his accomplishments and contributions to the development of the CREALOGIX Group and wishes him all the best in the next phase of his career. Wicki helped craft and successfully execute a succession plan for the Education business unit. Wicki will support his successor during onboarding and will continue to advise CREALOGIX if needed after his departure.

Wicki will be succeeded by Urs Widmer as the CEO of the Education division. Widmer has played a major role in Switzerland's e-learning industry in recent years. Being a recognized specialist, his latest position was Senior Vice President Europe for Tata Interactive Systems, where he expanded the e-learning business in Switzerland and worldwide. Prior to that, he had been the founder and CEO of an e-learning company.
