OREANDA-NEWS. Yaroslavl Motor Plant Avtodiesel, which is a part of GAZ Group, received certificates of Euro-5 compliance for the YaMZ-530 six-cylinder engines. According to the company, it enables to export vehicles with YAMZ-530 engines to ecologically conscious countries. 

A lineup of YaMZ-530 Euro-5 six-cylinder engines has improved oil and fuel consumption characteristics, extended power (240 hp - 330 hp) and torque (900 – 1,370 Nm) ranges, GAZ Group press service reports. The design of the new YaMZ-530 engines is highly unified with Euro-4 analogous and compliance with stricter ecostandard is provided with SCR (selective catalytic reduction) system, applied in six-cylinder models and selective catalyst converter, installed to the vehicles.

The first YaMZ-530 Euro-5 engines have been sent for vehicle certification with strategic partners of the enterprise for equipment of Ural and MAZ trucks and LIAZ city and suburban buses.
