OREANDA-NEWS. May 27, 2015. Google revealed this month that more searches are made with mobile devices than PCs for the first time. A statistic that is surprising no one at online casino gaming giant Casino.com.

It was also announced in April this year that adults now spend more time on their mobile devices than they do on their PCs or laptops.

These two mobile milestones -- nicknamed 'mobilegeddon' -- are a clear indication of a technological shift and change in user behaviour. "The future of mobile is now," says Google vice president Jerry Dischler.

Casino.com is a market leader in the mobile casino sector and has seen usage increase exponentially in recent months.

Juniper Research agrees. According to the market research company, the number of people using mobile devices will jump to 164 million in 2018, from 64 million in 2013. The strongest growth is expected in the North American market.
