OREANDA-NEWS. May 27, 2015. Negotiations on a new labor contract between the United States Postal Service and the National Rural Letter Carriers’ Association (NRLCA) came to an impasse. The parties will continue to follow the current agreement until a new contract is reached through the dispute resolution process.

The NRLCA represents more than 116,000 employees who deliver mail primarily in rural and suburban areas.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
