Passenger car production decreased by 21.9% in April

OREANDA-NEWS. According to Rosstat data, during four months of 2015 Russian enterprises manufactured 480,000 passenger cars - that is 20.5% less than a year ago. About 125,000 vehicles were produced in April, which is 21.9% less than in April 2014.

We should mention that in April AVTOVAZ shifted production of City version of the Lada 4x4 Urban from VIS-Avto to its own conveyor in order to increase production volume and improve logistics system. As for foreign vehicle assembly, Ford Sollers plant in Vsevolozhsk started manufacture of the new generation Ford Mondeo sedan last month.
