OREANDA-NEWS. The chairman of the Finnish-Belarusian Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Juha Hamalainen visited FEZ Gomel-Raton on 20-22 of May, 2015.

During the visit, Mr. Hamalainen, visited six FEZ residents: JSC Raton, the JSC Gomelcable, JSC SALEO-Gomel, JSC Gomeldrev, JSC Rechitsa Textile and JSC Rechitsadrev. During the negotiations the sides discussed the possibility of mutually beneficial cooperation of these companies with the Finnish businessmen and companies, possibilities of supplying their products to Finland, as well as the possibility of establishing new joint ventures in FEZ Gomel-Raton.

Mr. Hamalainen took part in the Gomel Economic Forum, visited the exhibition "Spring in Gomel" on May 21. During the exhibition negotiations on the prospects of cooperation with representatives of OJSC SvetlogorskKhimvolokno and JSC Svetlogorsk Pulp and Board Plant took place.
