OREANDA-NEWS. AVTOVAZ has finished its quota under the state utilization and trade-in program – 1.5 billion roubles. The money ran out in the first quarter, and utilization and trade-in sales are now continued at the company's own expense, RBK reports with reference to its sources.

According to LADA dealers, sales under the program have been continuing since the beginning of the year. The company has already addressed request about allocation of additional funds for the program extension to Ministry of Industry and Trade, sources at AVTOVAZ and the authority said.

The government allocated 10 billion roubles for utilization and trade-in program in 2015. AVTOVAZ got about 1.5 billion roubles, other 5 billion roubles were distributed among Sollers, GAZ and KAMAZ with approximately equal shares, sources among automakers told to RBK. The funds were originally allocated for the first quarter of 2015, but the program time limit was eventually extended to May.
