Lyondell reports flaring in La Porte

OREANDA-NEWS. LyondellBasell is flaring material at its La Porte, Texas chemical complex this morning, according to a message posted on a community hotline.

The flaring is expected to last four hours. Lyondell's La Porte complex can produce up to 2.4bn lb/yr of ethylene as well low density polyethylene and linear low density polyethylene.
