Tele2 holds People Open Day in high-speed year
On 20 May 2015, members of the Tele2 board and employees tried on new roles of consultants and promoters in the company’s stores and city streets. Throughout the day they answered visitors’ questions and connected new clients to the network.
Participation of Moscow office employees and the company’s top managers turned into a good tradition. Deputy CEO Jere Calmes connected new clients in Kemerovo whereas Chief Operational Officer Dmitriy Lopatukhin answered questions of Nizhniy Novgorod residents.
The sixth People Open Day showed impressive results and beat previous records. This time the event involved 450 Tele2 points of sale in 42 regions of Russia. This year the event involved the regions connected by Tele2 as a part of the deal with Rostelecom. Sales in shops that took part in the event increased two-fold compared to a regular business day.
Everyone could follow the event on pd.tele2.ru. The platform has gathered all pictures published by Tele2 employees on social network with a hashtag #powerday.
Mikhail Noskov, CEO at Tele2:
“We call 2015 “a high-speed year” because of large-scale 3G and 4G launches, integration processes, started operations in new regions. But even in such a busy time we do not forget about our old good traditions. We first ran People Open Day in 2011. Employees go “to the fields” in order to talk to the clients, tell them about advantages of our tariffs and services and attract new clients. Honest and transparent communication with our subscribers is the most important part of the Tele2 corporate culture. Face-to-face communication helps us better understand clients’ needs and take them into account when developing new products and services.”
