CP Chem restarts Cedar Bayou NAO plant

OREANDA-NEWS. Chevron Phillips Chemical began restarting its Cedar Bayou, Texas normal alpha olefins plant today, according to a filing with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.

NAO units 1797 and 1798 are being restarted following a turnaround that began on 10 April, according to the filing. Emissions of butene, ethylene, propylene and other materials are expected to continue through 24 May.
