OREANDA-NEWS.  UniCredit Bank repaid almost UAH 400 million to depositors of insolvent banks "Nadra" and "Imexbank."

"As of today, 18 532 depositors of Nadra bank received compensation for their funds in the amount of UAH 254.7 million. Payments to depositors of the bank will last until 5 June ", - said UniCredit Bank head of deposit products and current accounts Irina Strepetova.

To recall, UniCredit Bank makes payments to depositors with the registered place of residence in five regions of Ukraine: Ivano-Frankivsk, Rivne, Kharkiv, Chernivtsi and Chernihiv.

Imexbank depositors were repaid UAH 144 million, thus UniCredit Bank served 5 441 customers of the insolvent bank. Deposit Guarantee Fund of individuals has suspended payments to depositors of the bank "Imeksbank" starting from May 20.

"It’s really pleasant that despite the fact what customers of these financial institutions have experienced, 25% of them have entrusted the safety of their funds to our bank", - says Strepetova.
