OREANDA-NEWS. The Bank of England today published the minutes of Court from 1976-87 and Committee of Treasury minutes from 1947-87, marking the last substantial publication in a series of historic minute releases.

Today’s publication marks the delivery of the Bank’s commitment to issue all Court minutes up to 1987 by the end of 2015. Going forward, the Bank will publish two sets of yearly archives annually up until 2023, after which archives will be published with a 20 year lag aligning with National Archive best practice.

These changes were designed to put the Bank at the forefront of international best practice and enhance its ability to fulfil its mission to promote the good of the people of the United Kingdom by maintaining monetary and financial stability.
