OREANDA-NEWS.  Dmitry Busurkin was assigned as Datsun director in Russia. He replaced Jerome Sego, who has recently become vice-president of Datsun India. Mr. Busurkin will report directly to Philipp Sayar, the head of Nissan East subdivision.  At present he holds a post of sales director of Nissan East subdivision. 

According to Datsun press service, the main task of Mr. Busurkin at the new position is further development of Datsun brand in Russia, including marketing, public relations, sales and after-sales service, as well as interaction with Datsun Japan and European headquarters of Nissan company. 

During four months of 2015 Datsun sold 11,847 Datsun on-DO and Datsun mi-DO. The sales of the Datsun on-Do sedan came up to 9,683 vehicles, while the Datsun mi-Do hatchback, which went on sale at the beginning of March, was bought by 2,164 customers.
