OREANDA-NEWS. GM DAT CIS announced the recall of 346 Chevrolet Sparks, sold from 4 June 2009 to 2 August 2010. These vehicles, may possibly have defect of ABS control unit. Its valves may eventually be rust-prone, which could result in  partial lose of ABS functionality, increasing the stopping distance and, in some cases, can lead to braking instability as one of the rear wheels may be blocked, Rosstandart press service reports. 

GM DAT CIS authorized dealers notify owners of the recalling vehicles  by mail  and/or the phone, offering to visit the nearest dealer center for vehicle repairs. ABS modulator of all vehicles will be checked, brake fluid and, if necessary, ABS modulator will be replaced. Owners will get all repairs free of charge.
