FINNCAP continues growth with strong 2015 results
OREANDA-NEWS. finnCap, a leading, full service, independent broker to ambitious companies, announces its results for the year ended 30 April 2015.
finnCap recorded another year of growth and profits whilst generating a substantial cash return. This has allowed us to deliver strong dividends to shareholders, invest in our business and strengthen our team. Our corporate client base has continued to expand and we have moved into the top 10 brokers for Aim 100 companies for the first time. finnCap was the number one broker and adviser on Aim and a top five adviser and broker on the LSE at 30 April 2015.
Financial Highlights
· Revenue up 4% to £16.1m (2014: £15.5m)
· PBT £2.2m (2014: £2.4m)
· Corporate fees up 22% to £7.2m (2014: £6.0m)
· Retainers up 11% to £4.6m (2014: £4.2m)
Operational Highlights
§ Number one broker and Adviser on Aim by client numbers, number one in technology and healthcare, and top three in consumer goods, industrials, basic materials and oil & gas sectors
§ Admitted to the Financial Conduct Authority's List of Sponsors
§ Over ?220m raised in the year and acted on five IPOs
§ Client wins include Acal, Gemfields, Iofina, Lok'n'Store, PPHE, Proteome, Redcentric, Wandisco and Zambeef
