OREANDA-NEWS.  KIA dealers in Russia start to take orders for the updated KIA Rio five-door hatchback. This vehicle goes on sale in Russia on 1 June 2015, KIA Motors Rus press service reports.

 The KIA Rio hatchback will be offered with four variants and 10 packaging arrangements with 1.4-liters (107 hp) and 1.6-liter (123 hp) petrol engines. 1.4-liter engine can be aggregated with 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission, the 1.6-liter engine couples with 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmissions.

The KIA Rio, which is produced with CKD method at the plant in St. Petersburg, is the traditional leader among foreign vehicles represented in Russia. Over 300,000 KIA Rio have been sold since the model was launched in the market. Besides its usability, buyers of the Rio, appreciate this model for its design and equipping level.
