IDB Urban Lab 2015 call for proposals will reward innovative urban ideas
OREANDA-NEWS. The first international urban design call for proposals launched by the Inter-American Development Bank, IDB Urban Lab 2015, invites university students to develop a sustainable and multi-disciplinary urban project aimed at transforming the Curund neighborhood located in Panama City. The deadline is on May 29, 2015.
You are eligible to participate if you are a student enrolled in the last two years of your degree (5 or 6 year degrees) or a postgraduate student that meets the following criteria:
- Registered as a student at a university from the Latin American and Caribbean region (LAC); or
- Registered as a student at a university from outside the LAC region, working in partnership with a university from the LAC region.
- National of one of the IDB member countries.
The IDB Urban Lab, launched by IDB’s Emerging and Sustainable Cities Initiative, is a unique opportunity for young men and women with a passion for design and urban planning to become involved in the process of improving lives in Latin American cities.
“Young people are key players in the design of emerging cities. This is a unique opportunity to show their talent at a regional level”, indicates the General Coordinator of the Emerging and Sustainable Cities Initiative at the IDB.
