OREANDA-NEWS. KAMAZ sold 5,000 trucks in the Russian market during the first four months of 2015,  which is 49% less than a year ago. According to KAMAZ marketing specialists, the Russian market of 14-40 ton trucks decreased by 62% to 9,200 vehicles for the same period. So, the share of KAMAZ in the Russian market came up to 54% in January-April vs. 41% a year ago, KAMAZ press service reports 

According to the forecast of KAMAZ marketing specialists, the Russian market of 14-40 ton trucks will come up to 51,000 vehicles in 2015.  The company plans to sell 26,000 vehicles, so KAMAZ market share could reach 51%. KAMAZ intends to keep its leading position due to introduction of the new model lineup in the market, ousting of foreign competitors, increased application of gas-engine vehicles and cost optimization due to import substitution.
