About 20,000 vehicles sold under preferential car lending program

OREANDA-NEWS. 19,125 vehicles were sold on credit with reduced rate during the first month of preferential car lending program (from 1 April till 3 May). The banks got 105,000 credit applications and approved 57,319 of them. The average interest rate, taking into account the 8.33% discount decreased to 11.23%, press service of Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation reports.

97 Russian banks have announced their intention to participate in the program by 3 May. We should remind that, on 1 April participation in preferential car lending program was confirmed by banks,   covering up to 80% of all credit vehicle sales in Russia together (including VTB 24, Setelem Bank, UniCredit Bank, Rusfinance Bank, Volkswagen Bank RUS, Metallurgical Commercial Bank). Crediting is carried out through a network of dealer centers located in all regions from the Far East to Kaliningrad.
