Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE: NOC) announced its participation in three Phoenix, Arizona-area conventions focused on microwave and semiconductor technology: the International Microwave Symposium 2015 (IMS), the 2015 International Conference on Compound Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology (CS ManTech) and the 2015 Reliability of Compound Semiconductors (ROCS) workshop. At all three conferences, Northrop Grumman will highlight the company's expertise in microelectronics innovation and transitioning new technology to demanding, high performance communications applications.

Throughout the week, Northrop Grumman will present several papers, including a summary of the highest output power ever achieved from a single chip Ka-band gallium nitride (GaN) Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuit (MMIC) power amplifier that peaked at 40 Watts at 27 gigahertz (GHz) and demonstrated significant advancement over current published results.

At IMS, Northrop Grumman will sponsor the Student Awards Luncheon which honors the winners of 16 different design competitions. The company is also a platinum corporate sponsor for CS ManTech, and has technical leaders in both the Executive Committee and Technical Program Committees.
