Nissan Group of North America announces senior management changes
OREANDA-NEWS. May 14, 2015. Nissan Group of North America is making several changes to its U.S.-based management team to enhance its performance and further accelerate the company's growth in the North America (N.A.) region.
"These changes better position Nissan Group to achieve our Power 88 business plan goals in the North American market," said Jos? Mu?oz, executive vice president, Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. and chairman, Nissan North America, Inc.
All changes are effective immediately, unless otherwise noted.
Andrew Speaker is promoted to director, Electric Vehicle (EV) Sales & Marketing, reporting to Dan Mohnke, vice president, Nissan Chief Marketing Manager & Marketing Operations and Derrick Hatami, vice president, U.S. Sales. Speaker joined Nissan in 2002, and served most recently as senior manager, Regional Strategy and Planning Office. He has a bachelor's degree in industrial management from Carnegie Mellon University.
Fred Suckow, senior manager, Sales Quality, is promoted to director, Nissan Customer Experience. In the new role, Suckow reports to John Spoon, currently vice president, Customer Quality and Chief Customer Officer. Suckow joined Nissan in 1985, and has held a variety of positions in the sales and marketing organization. He has a bachelor's degree in marketing from The Ohio State University.
Mike Hobson, director, Market Intelligence, is named director, Customer Quality and Customer Resource Center (CRC), reporting to Spoon. Since joining Nissan in 1991, Hobson has held positions in sales and marketing and market intelligence for Nissan and Nissan Motor Acceptance Corp. Hobson earned a bachelor's degree in applied sciences from California State University, Northridge.
Carnie Colliver, currently senior manager, Wholesale Collision Sales, is promoted to director, Aftersales Strategy, N.A. He will report to Pietro Berardi, vice president, Aftersales, N.A., and will also continue to support the U.S. team on specific business initiatives. Colliver joined Nissan in 2010. He earned a bachelor's degree in business from Northern Arizona University.
Effective June 1, Ben Miller, currently general manager, Treasury, Nissan Europe, is promoted to Director, Treasury, N.A. He will report to Carlos Servin, vice president, Finance, N.A., and Rakesh Kochhar, senior vice president, Nissan Global Treasury, Global Sales, and Administration & Finance. Miller joined Nissan in 2011 as assistant treasurer, N.A., before going on assignment in Europe in 2013. He holds a bachelor's degree in finance from Virginia Tech.
Effective July 1, Adam Walker is being promoted to director, Market Intelligence, reporting to Dave Mazur, vice president, Market Intelligence & Regional Revenue Optimization. Walker is currently senior manager, Market Intelligence for Nissan Latin America and has served in positions in marketing and market intelligence with Nissan in the U.S. and Latin America since 2004. Walker has a bachelor's degree in international relations from Brigham Young University and an MBA from the University of South Carolina.
Infiniti to add two regional field offices
Infiniti is adding new regional field offices in Chicago and Atlanta to enhance its sales performance and to better meet the needs of Infiniti retailers and customers. Two new Regional Vice Presidents will be added to lead these organizations.
Effective June 1, Ray Jimenez is named regional vice president, Infiniti South Region. He will report to Randy Parker, vice president, Infiniti Americas, and be based in Atlanta. Jimenez joined Nissan in 2004, and has held a variety of roles in the company's field sales and marketing organization. He holds a bachelor's degree in economics and business management from the City University of New York and an MBA from Nova Southeastern University.
Effective July 1, Tony Gardina is named regional vice president, Infiniti North Region. He will report to Randy Parker and be based in Chicago. Gardina joined Infiniti in 2006, holding positions of increasing responsibility in sales and marketing for Infiniti and at Nissan's global headquarters in Yokohama, Japan. He has a bachelor's degree in finance from the University of Iowa and an MBA from Villanova University.
