OREANDA-NEWS. On Friday at the training base of a MIA special unit Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk presented flat certificates to the officers of the Internal Affairs units and officers of the National Guard of Ukraine, who had been injured in the anti-terrorist operations, as well as to the families of soldiers killed in the ATO.

Arseniy Yatsenyuk appealed to the families of the deceased soldiers: "I thank you for your sons, for our Ukrainian sons. For you had given birth to those who were fighting for our independence, for your children could have become an example of true heroism".

The Prime Minister also addressed the soldiers, who attend training in the base: "On behalf of the Government and me personally, my family, all of us I’m asking you to fight for our country like those guys who are now struggling in Donetsk and Luhansk. I’m asking you to believe in our strength, to demonstrate the entire world that we are an invincible nation".

He emphasized that Russia had declared war on Ukraine, and our country had risen up for our rights and freedom: "We have become a united country when we realized the value of the country, value of each other and value of the fact we have our own Homeland. This Homeland must be protected".

"70 years ago the Ukrainians, who had been fighting on all fronts against Nazi Germany, defeated the Nazis. Today we should also achieve peace, we should get this peace due to our joint struggle. Peace can never be obtained easily - the Russian aggressor has a rather different purpose", urged Arseniy Yatsenyuk.

He stressed that these days each Ukrainian citizen, each Ukrainian family rely on our soldiers, policemen, the National Guard, "on your strength and your will and our common victory".

“I am grateful to you for your service, your stamina, I am grateful for our future joint victory. Peace will be restored in Ukraine and all together we will gain this peace,” Arseniy Yatsenyuk accentuated.
