Inflation Rate in Georgia Made 0,3% in April 2015
OREANDA-NEWS. The inflation rate in Georgia made 0,3% in April 2015.
In the reporting period, alcohol drinks and tobacco prices increased by 1%, while those in the healthcare sphere – by 0,5%; prices in education sphere increased by 0,2%; in transport sphere - by 1,8%, while in the communications sphere – by 0,6%. Meanwhile, foodstuffs and soft drinks prices dropped by 0,3%; public utilities services – by 0,1%. Prices in the sphere of hotel, cafe and restaurant services remained unchanged.
The inflation rate in Georgia made 2,6% in April 2015, as against April 2014. Over the reporting period, alcohol drinks and tobacco prices increased by 11%; foodstuffs and soft drinks prices - by 2,7%; service at hotels, cafes and restaurants - by 2,9%; in the healthcare sphere – by 6,4%; in the education sphere - by 3%; public utilities services - by 1,4%; in communications sphere – 0,8%. At the same time, prices in the transport sphere dropped by 5,1.
