OREANDA-NEWS. Winmark's CLO Network, the preeminent knowledge sharing peer community for Chief Legal Officers, and Mitratech, the leading provider of Enterprise Legal Management solutions, are pleased to announce their joint collaboration at a forthcoming CLO Network Meeting.

This invitation-only symposium, entitled 'The Evolution of the GC Role,' will take place on Wednesday, 10th June at the Institute of Directors in London, and will comprise presentations and panel discussions chaired by Simon Dowson-Collins, General Counsel at HarperCollins Publishers, and feature contributions from Liz Kelly, Former General Counsel at Nationwide, Claire Debney, Vice-President & General Counsel, Group Legal Affairs & Compliance at RB and Jason Parkman, CEO at Mitratech.

The Evolution of the GC Role will not only reveal the panellists' 'war stories,' but also highlight Mitratech's thought leadership and insights from the US and Europe on what is next on the horizon for General Counsel and their teams and how they can best prepare to capitalise on potential opportunities and mitigate threats, in order to truly create value for their respective businesses.

According to Amit Alagh, the Head of Winmark's Chief Legal Officer Network: "Our members have told us that understanding the evolution of their role is at the very heart of their personal and professional development priorities for 2015. We are delighted to be collaborating with Mitratech in delivering their thought leadership to our members: this will certainly help them to surmount any challenge.

"We are grateful to our panel for investing their time and vision, and for sharing best practice from their own companies for the benefit of their peers. The presence of our high profile panel and our collaboration with Mitratech is a testament to the strength of our Network, and the remarkable quality of our meetings, research and input."

"We appreciate the opportunity to partner with Winmark and their exceptional community of CLOs," noted Parkman. "Our mission at Mitratech is to enable the legal department to be the best-run function in the organisation, and that requires General Counsel to effectively manage the rapid change occurring in the industry."
