Cellino opened the plant to produce automotive components in Kaluga

OREANDA-NEWS. Company "SMK", "daughter" of the Italian Cellino Srl, opened in Kaluga the first production facility for the production of automotive components. At the first stage in the plant it will be started the production line of aluminum fuel tanks for trucks, then it is planned to expand the production and to start the manufacturing of steel fuel tanks and oil tanks, components for frogs and frames, body parts of trucks and passenger cars, reported Comtrans.biz.

The investments were to 10 million Euros, production capacity "SMK" were deployed in the territory of JSC "Kaluga engine”. The company plans to take up to 50 personnel. At this plant, "SMK" has commissioned a new automated robotic welding line.
