OREANDA-NEWS. According to the latest studies of the structure of the Russian car parc, which is conducted by the analytical agency "AUTOSTAT", the average age of trucks in our country is 18.9 years. At the same time, analysts noted that if you take a separate segment of domestic (and the CIS) and foreign brands, then the average age of trucks is 20.5 and 12.1, respectively.

Analysts also stated that the average age of Russian buses is less by 5.5 years - 15.3. Therewith, the ratio of ages is different - foreign buses are younger than domestic ones (14.5 and 16.6 years, respectively).

The "youngest" segment among the Russian segments of commercial vehicles - includes light commercial vehicles. The average age of vehicles in this segment – is 13.7 years. In this segment, as in the park of buses, domestic vehicles are younger – the average age is 12.7 years and the average age of foreign origin – is 15.3 years.
