CPChem restarts Sweeny unit No. 22

OREANDA-NEWS. Chevron Phillips Chemical began restarting its No. 22 ethylene unit on Saturday following a planned turnaround at its Sweeny, Texas complex, according to a filing with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.

Emissions of ethylene, butadiene, propane, propylene and other materials are expected to continue through 6 May during the restart process.
