OREANDA-NEWS. All employees of AvtoVAZ (about 52 thousand people, with the exception of contracted managers) will receive an increase in their salaries and wage rates of 6% from June 1st. As a result, the average wage for AvtoVAZ will increase from the current 27,500 rubles to 29,000 rubles. The June salary increase will increase the payroll of the plant by approximately 1 billion Rubles per a year, informed the press service of AvtoVAZ.

"Increasing of wages – is an assessment of the work of all our employees, who in the first quarter did a great job, increasing the quality of cars Lada, reducing costs, achieving high customer focus of the company and further success in the auto market. Specific results to improve the quality and increase of production were reached at the production of car Lada Kalina / Granta, engine production and manufacture of prototypes. The staff of these three divisions will receive an additional bonus in July - in average by 29 thousand rubles”, - said the president of AvtoVAZ, Bo Andersson.

The chairman of union organization of AvtoVAZ, Sergei Zaitsev, in his turn, said that AvtoVAZ continues to work steadily to pay salaries and find ways to improve it, despite the difficult situation in the Russian market and in the automotive industry, when many companies were stopped and earnings of employees decreased.

Recall that in December of last year AvtoVAZ’s management and the union signed a document entitled "Basic principles of social and personnel policy of "AvtoVAZ" in 2015," which provides for an annual review of salaries from July 1st. According to Mr.Zaytsev, thanks to the good work of the team of the company it was managed to increase the salary by a month earlier, since June 1st.

In addition to obligations under general wage increase we achieved targeted improvements. In April-May it was increased the salary of welders on the production line of cars on the B0 platform. 600 welders will receive an increase, by 2.1 thousand rubles in average - this aligns income of specialists in this profession”, - said the head of the union.
