OREANDA-NEWS. The Fund partners with Ilim Group to implement community charity programs in the regions where the Company operates. Represented by two branches, Ilim-Garant East (Irkutsk Oblast) and Ilim Garant West (Arkhangelsk Oblast), Ilim-Garant Charity Fund focuses mainly on implementation of children's and amateur sport programs, educational projects (including kindergartens), and programs aimed to support orphans, disabled people, unemployed retirees and mill and forest operations veterans, helping municipal health care institutions and promoting programs for art and culture development. Through its Ilim Garant Corporate Charity Fund Ilim Group ensures repair and opening of new kindergartens, purchases healthcare facility equipment, and builds sport venues.

Resolutions to support a particular program are passed by the Fund‘s Advisory Expert Councils in each of the Branches, which include representatives of Ilim Group, local government authorities, and NGOs.

In addition, Ilim-Garant organizes and supports volunteering among Ilim Group employees, giving them an opportunity to help children in foster care.
