OREANDA-NEWS. Alexander Zaitsev, who chairs RusRating's Board of Directors, has been named to the Expert Council on Rating Issues established by the Central Bank of Russia. The council was formed to develop recommendations that will shape Central Bank strategy and policy aimed at developing, regulating and monitoring rating agency activity.
The council's main tasks are to collect, analyze and summarize the views of rating industry representatives on current issues, and to develop recommendations for regulating this segment of the financial market, based in part on international experience.

The council's members include representatives of other rating agencies, as well as the Central Bank, the Russian Federation Ministries of Finance and Economic Development, researchers and academics.
