Branch Connections of Rimera's SOT Plant to Be Used at a Mongolian Thermal Power Plant
OREANDA-NEWS. April 30, 2015. Rimera's SOT plant shipped a large batch of small-diameter pipe branch connections for a strategic power facility in Ulan Bator.
In April, SOT plant supplied over 4,000 units to the thermal power plant in the capital of Mongolia. The batch of P90 branch connections of dia. 76-325mm and schedule of up to 8mm was made of steel grade 20 by pulling it through a horn-shaped mandrel. According to the national standard GOST 17375-01, the pipe connections are supplied together with steam and hot water pipelines.
"Despite the fact that the bulk of our shipments goes to the domestic oil and gas industry, we do our best to sustain a steady demand amongst our partners from CIS and non-CIS countries and develop our exports", says Rimera's Commercial Director Konstantin Samsonov. "Since the beginning of 2015, SOT plant has participated in supplies for the Chemical Park Taraz, Kazakhstan, and shipped large-diameter branch connections to Azerbaijan's SOCAR for the Southern Gas Corridor project. The next export job is to replenish an emergency stock for the Latvian natural gas company Latvijas G?ze.”
