OREANDA-NEWS. April 30, 2015. Pervouralsk Pipe plant, part of ChelPipe Group, went through the second compliance audit of aircraft products and a certified central test laboratory. The audit was conducted by Material Certification Center (accredited by the Air Registration Board of the Interstate Aviation Committee).

Experts of the IAC ARB took a favorable view of how the plant acquires, processes and analyses data to maintain quality consistency of its products and technology and noted high proficiency of the workshop personnel involved in this work.

The aim of the compliance audit was to validate the certificate for production of aircraft materials and the certificate of the test laboratory first obtained by Pervouralsk Pipe plant back in 2008. The plant takes a recertification audit every three years. The next one is scheduled for 2016.

In 2014, ChelPipe Group shipped 775 tons of aircraft products used in the production of load-carrying structures of the fuselage, installation of fuel and oxygen feed systems, production of tube structures of the undercarriage and production of helicopter skids, firefighting systems and ejection systems.
