OREANDA-NEWS. Shvabe Holding has acquired a Russian patent for its multipurpose adjustable magnification sight.

The device, constructed by specialists from the Shvabe Holding, Shvabe - Defence and Protection, has two fixed magnification settings of 1X and 4X. Grid highlighting with 7 tonal gradations provides an opportunity to conduct shooting at daylight and at dusk.

"This multipurpose adjustable amplification sight belongs to a new generation of optical devices produced by Shvabe's specialists. It ensures fast and accurate aiming in any conditions, allowing the hunter to instantly respond to changing situations and successfully hit targets," explained Shvabe Holding Deputy CEO of R&D and Innovative Development Nikolay Rakovich.

The casing of the patented device is made of durable aluminum alloy, it is shock- and moistureproof. Totally enclosed construction ensures high reliability and excellent image quality in all weather conditions.

The sight can be attached to different types of rifle hunting weapon (up to caliber 308) with Picatinny type fitting rail with a length of 105 mm. Quick-detachable fixing clamps on the weapon are equipped with locks designed to prevent accidental opening of the clamps. Fixing mechanism is made of steel.

The Russian patent is issued for inventions that are new, have a degree of inventiveness, and have industrial applications. The Shvabe Holding multipurpose adjustable amplification sight will be protected by the Federal Service for Intellectual Property of the Russian Federation for a period of 20 years.
