OREANDA-NEWS. KAMAZ and "Gazprom" agreed to work on the development of synchronous motor fuel market. A cooperation agreement was signed by General Director of KAMAZ, Sergey Kogoghin, and Chairman of the Board of "Gazprom", Alexey Miller. The agreement reflects the intention of the group of companies "Gazprom" to purchase for their own use of KAMAZ vehicles and spare parts. KAMAZ under the terms of the agreement will carry out after-sales service and repair of motor vehicles, informed the press service of KAMAZ.

It is expected that in the framework of cooperation "Gazprom" company will send annually KAMAZ the plans about the amount of purchase and a list of needed models. KAMAZ, in the case of creation of in the group of companies "Gazprom" its infrastructure of after-sales service, will contribute to the delivery of all necessary parts and special tools, diagnostic equipment, service documentation and software, as well as training of specialists engaged in service "KAMAZ" and special equipment on the basis of KAMAZ chassis.

At the meeting that was held on April 22nd at the General Directorate of KAMAZ, there were also invited other manufacturers of vehicles that use natural gas. Participants that are configured on the development of long-term and stable mutually beneficial trade and economic relations, decided to put together a program for creating, testing and implementation of NGV vehicles. Automakers will organize the production of vehicles powered by natural gas, as well as they will take part in the adaptation of technological base of operating organizations to work with NGV vehicles. In its turn, "Gazprom" will coordinate the construction of NGV infrastructure in areas of compact placement of vehicles on natural gas, as well as to facilitate the testing of gas-engine vehicles. The authors of these works will perform specialized company “Gazprom gas fuel”.
