OREANDA-NEWS. April 27, 2015. Kaspersky Lab North America announced today the promotion of Mike Canavan to the position of Vice President, Sales Engineering. In this role, Mike will oversee all pre-sales systems engineering activities in the region, including North America B2B sales product training which includes a standardized onboarding initiative for the sales team as a whole, guiding senior sales management regarding technology and solutions, and acting as a solution evangelist for North America B2B sales both internally and externally. Mike will report to Mike Parise, Senior Vice President, Corporate Sales.

Prior to the promotion, Mike served as Senior Director, Systems Engineering. Since joining Kaspersky Lab in May 2010, Mike has grown the Systems Engineering (SE) team over 300 percent in size. He first introduced role specialization in the SE team structure and built the first iterations of technical feedback into R&D from North America.
