OREANDA-NEWS. April 24, 2015. The Costa neoRomantica (56,000 gross tonnage) will depart tomorrow, Friday 24 April, from Savona on an incredible cruise dedicated to CostaClub members, the club dedicated to people who choose a Costa cruise as their preferred holiday: a 12-day voyage to discover the treasures of Italy and Greece, in the perfect "dolce vita" style, and to savour on board Italy’s finest, from food and music to entertainment, with lots of surprises and exclusive events.

More than 1500 guests, mainly Italian and French, will depart on an itinerary that, at the "slow" pace of the neoCollection cruises, will call on Naples, Kalamata (Greece), Nafplio (Greece), Volos (Greece), Athens (Greece), Trapani and Marseilles (France). The guest stars of the cruise, and the main attraction of an incredible live concert on board the Costa neoRomantica, will be the group known as Ricchi e Poveri, incredibly famous and popular, and not only in Italy, for songs, that have become a real "cult".

There will also be numerous special activities reserved for CostaClub members to set the rhythm of the cruise: culinary competitions as well as singing and dancing contests; elegant cocktail parties and evening soirees, such as the Notte Bianca (White Party) and the Costume Party Evening; special gastronomic surprises, like the Great Italian Buffet Festival, that puts the spotlight on our culinary traditions; theme events, including conferences dedicated to the director Federico Fellini and the Italian "dolce vita" of the '50s and '60s, and presentation of some of the period’s most representative films, such as, in fact, La Dolce Vita, Vacanze Romane, Tre soldi nella fontana and La baia di Napoli; and finally exclusive gifts for an all Italian-style celebration.

In 2015, Costa Cruises will also offer its most loyal guests a second CostaClub cruise, inspired by the "Bel Canto", departing from Amsterdam on 23 August on the Costa Fortuna (102,600 gross tonnage), to discover the Norwegian fjords. Accompanied by the notes of the most famous opera arias, this 9-day voyage will take CostaClub members to some of the most charming vacation spots in North Europe, nestled in nature and surrounded by lakes, mountains, waterfalls and characteristic fjords.

The guest of honour will be the soprano Cecilia Gasdia, the incredible artist of the Italian opera scene who has performed in the some of the world’s most famous Opera Theatres, along with renowned orchestra leaders and conductors, from Franco Zeffirelli and Claudio Abbado to Riccardo Muti and Zubin Metha.
