Swedbank Economic Forum 2015 Live broadcast: Where to find growth opportunities for Baltic businesses?
Swedbank’s chief economists from the three Baltic countries and Norway will participate in the forum and, along with other top-ranking experts, will share their views on global, regional and Baltic economic outlook.
- Is the recovery picking up in Europe? How will the quantitative easing by the European Central Bank affect interest rates and the value of the euro? What do a low interest rate and low-inflation environment mean for Baltic businesses?
- Economic and political developments in Russia – how bad will it get, and where to find alternative markets?
- Where to find (new) growth/business opportunities? New countries to sell our products/services to, new industries, new products?
- How do globalisation and digitalisation interact, and what opportunities do these processes mean for businesses – what does rapid technological change globally mean to the business environment, way of doing business, organisational structure, product development, and investment decisions?
The forum’s special guest will be professor Pekka Sutela(Finland), an expert on Russian and Soviet economics and policies, a frequent media commentator, and consultant. He was the Head of the Institute for Economies in Transition at the Bank of Finland in 1998-2009 and has published several books and many articles on these topics.
