Who among automakers lowered prices in April?

OREANDA-NEWS. According to the analytical agency "AUTOSTAT", among the forty-nine automakers that are officially represented on the Russian market, only prices of eleven manufacturers have not changed (Acura, Brilliance, Cadillac, Changan, Chrysler, Daewoo, Haima, Jeep, Lexus, Lifan, and Volvo) for the first two decades of April. For the rest brands - situation is different: someone changed the price (lowered or raised) to one model, someone – for two, someone - almost the whole range.

Against the background of the situation improving with the dollar, some automakers have begun to reduce prices in April. So, Renault in April lowered the price for the new sedan Logan by 3.6-4.5%, for the "old" Logan sedan with an engine 1,4l by 4,4-6,1%, Sandero hatchback by 3,6-5,2%, crossover Sandero Stepway by 3.7-4.2%.

Chinese Jac cut the price of crossover S5 by 2,2-3,6%.

The decision to lower the price of Polo sedan of Kaluga assembly was adopted by the Russian office of Volkswagen. Now, the base version of the car in Conceptline costs 505 thousand Rubles (33 thousand less than in March). Falling prices also affected other complete sets of Polo - Trendline, Comfortline, CLUB and Highline.

Korean SsangYong Actyon slashed prices by 12,0-17,4%, Actyon Sports by 10,9-13,9%, Kyron by 13,1-16,5%, Rexton by 7,9-11,2%, Stavic by 9,7-12,0%.

Honda has lowered the price of the model Crosstour - but it is connected with not so much the dollar but with the fact that the model will soon leave the Russian market. With the decline in the price dealers are selling Pilot - also in anticipation of the new model. For the crossover Honda CR-V, the most popular model of the company, prices are reduced for all configurations (from 4,2-14,0%).

This is just a small part of a long list of changes in the price of the car market in April. Do not forget that a number of companies are offering special promotions now, by participating in which buyers have the benefit of several hundred thousand. Thus, the company Citroen provides an opportunity to buy Citroen C4 Aircross with the benefit of up to 300 thousand rubles until April 30th 2015.
