OREANDA-NEWS. Start of production of LADA Vesta is scheduled for September 25th (at Izhevsk car plant), sales of new cars from AvtoVAZ will start on November 25th, 2015. It was stated in the report of the President of AvtoVAZ, Bo Andersson, in the Convention of Russian Automobile Dealers (ROAD) in Moscow.

Recall, the first body of the pilot lot of sedans LADA Vesta was welded and painted on February 6th, 2015, and on March 12th it was welded the main body of the first assembly line. Until the end of 2015 it is planned to produce about 5,000 cars of this model.

Car Lada Vesta was created on a completely new platform Lada B, developed by engineers of AvtoVAZ in collaboration with the Alliance Renault-Nissan. According to recent reports, the new car will cost from 500-550 thousand rubles.
