OREANDA-NEWS. April 22, 2015. McKesson Health Solutions executive Tammie Phillips R.N. will prepare case managers for the key trends that are rapidly changing the healthcare industry. She will speak at the American Case Management Association (ACMA)’s national conference held April 26-29 in Phoenix, AZ.

The session entitled, “Changing the Care Management Model” will be held on April 28 at 9:30 AM PT. Ms. Phillips will discuss how recent trends such as new CMS regulations and the shift to value-based care affect care management operations today, and offer some actionable advice based on their experience speaking to payers and providers across the country.

“Case managers are being asked to strive for better outcomes at lower costs in the middle of unprecedented change and challenging timelines” says Ms. Phillips, VP, business consulting at McKesson Health Solutions. “At 2015 ACMA National Conference, I’ll present some strategic epiphanies that will help them prepare for emerging care management models that are being driven out of new regulations, changing population health and the transition to value-based care and reimbursement.”

The 2015 ACMA National Conference will gather case management professionals to learn and share strategies for health care delivery. McKesson will answer attendees’ questions and will provide tools to help them navigate complex market challenges at Booth #311.
