Official dealers plan to offer soon their clients the service of registration of sold cars in the dealer centre, involves the issuance of a car once with number signs, said the president of the Association "Russian Automobile Dealers" (ROAD), Vladimir Mozhenkov. He said that a car, bought from dealers, will be available to register already in the traffic police - with a certificate of registration and number signs. The head of ROAD informed "Za rulem.RF" that today a draft law is under consideration in the State Duma, and, according to him, it has already passed the first and second reading. He also said that the association was originally among the initiators of the introduction of new services.

"Now we wait for the law. Hopefully, it will be by June. Traffic police will give a number plate, to give us (dealers) data, and we will write papers and hang number plates”, - said Mr.Mozhenkov. The cost of the new service was not revealed by the head of ROAD. The head of the "ROAD" did not deny that, and a number of dealers offer this service unofficially.

Representatives of the traffic police had previously reported that they were ready to refuse the issuance of license plates. We should note that this measure can eliminate the problem of obtaining of "nice" numbers. Also it was planned previously that the traffic police during the registering of the vehicle will give the owner only a certificate of registration of the vehicle and the owners will have to buy their own license plates. Currently, however, there is no decision about it.
