According to the decision of the vast majority of members of the Committee of Automakers Association of European Businesses (AEB), the company "Chery Automobiles Rus" became a part of the Committee. The company's management intends to take an active part in solving of the topical issues of the industry. As noted, Chery became the first Chinese company, which became a part of the Committee's automakers. "Chery Automobiles Rus" works 10 years in the Russian market.

"Of course, we have taken another step in strengthening of our position in the market, the growth of confidence in the brand, as by the official structures, so the general public”, - said the director of "Chery Automobiles Rus", Gennady Pavlov. – “A year ago, we have successfully brought to the market an innovative Ambition Line, launched the Russian car production in Cherkessk. Now we are developing our dealer network, we are introducing modern management tools to build effective communication with the authorities and partners. Concern Chery came to the Russian market with serious intentions, and active work in the industry committee will help us to convey our views to the Russian authorities, as well as affect directly the development of a comfortable business environment in the industry”. 

AEB Automobile Manufacturers Committee was established in 1998 to combine and represent the common interests of companies - the largest international automakers, acting as official importers in Russia. The Committee aims at the development and compliance with fair rules of doing business for all companies, operating in the Russian market, as well as the development of cooperation between the companies. The union engaged in the most important and urgent problems of automotive sphere, lobbying for the interests of its members, cooperates closely with local authorities, public institutions, national industry associations and the media. As of April 2015, the Committee is composed of 26 companies (importers and manufacturers), representing 45 brands. The Committee is chaired by Joerg Schreiber, the CEO of Mazda Motor Rus.
