Kaspersky Lab North America Promotes Jon Whitlock to Vice President, B2B Marketing
Prior to the promotion, Jon served as Senior Director of Channel Marketing, Kaspersky Lab North America, transforming channel marketing into a strategic function for the company. During his tenure in this role, Jon launched a number of projects to develop systems and processes that serve both channel sales and marketing, as well as the entire B2B business. Projects and accomplishments include:
- Re-vamped the Partner Portal, resulting in an increase in usage of 30 percent year-over-year (YoY) from 2013.
- Under Jon’s leadership, Channel Marketing programs supported the recruitment of nearly 650 new LAR (large account reseller) sales reps who registered deals that closed in 2014 and over 800 new VAR (value added reseller) partners. The combination of these new recruits has contributed over \$3.7 million in bookings year-to-date in 2014. In addition:
- Deal Registration increased 15 percent YoY
- Partner Recruitment increased 17 percent YoY
- Channel Marketing supported the Channel Sales team in over 380 customer events and 1,550 partner events, engaging over 15,000 partner reps, and contributing 9,250 qualified leads and over 5,800 deal registrations.
Most recently, Jon was the driving force behind the company’s significant enhancements to its reseller Partner Program, increasing its investment and commitment to its U.S. and Canadian reseller partners. The new program offers not only increased opportunities for profit and growth, but a world-class ecosystem of tools, incentives and support to help partners stand out in today’s competitive security industry.
