OREANDA-NEWS. The volume of production of LADA Vesta cars at AvtoVAZ in 2015 should reach about 5000 units. Start of production is scheduled for September 25th (in Izhevsk car plant), and in October the plant plans to assemble about 600 units of the new model. It is scheduled for November the production of about 1500 LADA Vesta, and in December, the production will increase to 2,500 units or more. These data are presented by AvtoVAZ President, Bo Andersson, on April 15th at the Convention of Russian Automobile Dealers (ROAD), which is taking place in Moscow.

According to the President of AvtoVAZ, the production of pilot samples LADA Vesta goes according to plan, and even with some ahead of schedule. Recall, on February 6th, 2015 in Izhevsk at "IzhAvto" it was welded and painted the first body pilot lot of sedans LADA Vesta, and on March 12th it was welded the first body at the main assembly line.

AvtoVAZ plans to produce new sedan Lada Vesta in more than 10 complete sets, but some embodiments of the model will be named in a new way.

The sedan will have three main options for equipment - "Classic", "Comfort" and the traditional line for VAZ "Luxury" line. In total there will be about 11 modifications, and then their number will grow.

Car Lada Vesta was created on a completely new platform Lada B, developed by engineers of AvtoVAZ in collaboration with the specialists of Alliance Renault-Nissan. According to recent reports, the new car will cost 500-550 thousand rubles.
