Toyota Safety Sense Earns Corolla Full Marks in Japan Preventative Safety Assessment Test
OREANDA-NEWS. April 16, 2015. Japan New Car Assessment Program (JNCAP); vehicle safety information provided by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) and the National Agency for Automotive Safety and Victims' Aid since FY1995. The information comprises results of safety evaluations for commercially available vehicles based on tests including collision safety performance tests, pedestrian protection performance tests and braking performance tests.
Standard for certain grades; cost as option: 54,000 yen (including consumption tax); includes a feature that detects when the vehicle ahead has moved forward from a traffic light.
