OREANDA-NEWS. April 16, 2015. It is now three months since the EU introduced new VAT rules on digital B2C supplies requiring e-service providers to tax their supplies in the consumer’s country and enabling them to do so via the MOSS system. These rules have affected all businesses, both large and small, and have raised many questions, from basic procedural issues to strategic business matters, such as pricing, choosing the right sales channels, and the like.

Just before the deadline for submission of the first quarterly report, we would like to invite you to a morning discussion on the new VAT rules and the MOSS system. This will offer a great opportunity to ask questions, share your experience and discuss practical problems with lawyers and colleagues engaged in digital supplies.

The discussion will focus on the following practical aspects:

  • Checklist for suppliers – what and when to assess in order to be safe.
  • Status and location of the customer – what evidence to collect.
  • Different rules in different EU Member States – what to take into account and where to find.
  • Reporting – main principles to follow.
We aim to provide a platform for active discussion and for you to share your experience, doubts and questions. If you have specific questions to discuss, please send them by e-mail to indre.telksnyte@sorainen.com by Wednesday, 16 April COB.

The discussion will take place at law firm SORAINEN (Jogailos 4, Vilnius) on Friday, 17 April 2015, 10:00 AM.

Please register for the seminar by 16 April by sending an e-mail to indre.telksnyte@sorainen.com or by phone +370 52 685 040. When registering, please provide your full name, company and position.

The event is free of charge. Seating is limited, so we invite one representative from each company.

The working language of the event will be English.
