During the first week of starting of the program of preferential car loan (from April 1st to 5th) it was received 11.3 thousand applications from individuals for the purchase of cars on credit at a reduced rate, among which 6191 (54%) applications were approved, and car payment already passed by 884 contracts. The average rate with taking into account the discount was to 12.32%.

Since April 1st, the issue of preferential car loans was confirmed by banks, covering up to 80% of all credit car sales in Russia (including VTB 24, "Setelem Bank", "UniCredit Bank", "Rusfinance", "Volkswagen Bank RUS", Metallurgical Commercial Bank). Issuance of loans is implemented through a network of dealerships located in all regions from the Far East to Kaliningrad.

"As of April 5th, a statement about intention to participate in the program was sent by 51 Russian credit organizations. High interest of banks in the program of preferential car loan suggests that this measure is not only timely running, but that its implementation would achieve the predicted results. In addition, the banks' readiness to go to reduce the lending rate for the buyers creates the most favorable conditions for buying of a car on credit, which is important especially in the current economic conditions”, - said the head of Industry and Trade, Denis Manturov.

The program of preferential car loan applies to passenger cars and light commercial vehicles of 2015 year of release. The price of the purchased vehicle may not exceed 1 million Rubles, and its gross weight - 3.5 tons. When you make an advance payment of not less than 20% of the price of the car, the loan rate will be reduced by state-subsidized amount of 2/3 of the key rate of the Bank of Russia on the date of the loan agreement. Thus, the service of taken today in loan funds will not exceed 15% per annum for the buyer. Loans will be issued before the end of 2015 for a period up to 36 months. From the federal budget by the end of the year it will be allocated 1.5 billion Rubles, which will permit to sell up to 200 thousand cars.
