OREANDA-NEWS. Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC), together with Mitsubishi Motor Sales (China) Co., Ltd., GAC Mitsubishi Motors Co., Ltd., and South East (Fujian) Motor Co., Ltd., will be exhibiting at Auto Shanghai 2015 (The 16th International Automobile & Manufacturing Technology exhibition) two PHEV concept cars with full SUV functionality and designs epitomizing occupant reassurance and which indicate the direction automobile building will take at MMC in the near future: the MITSUBISHI Concept XR PHEV-II and the Outlander PHEV Concept-S (making its Asian market debut).

The MITSUBISHI Concept XR PHEV-II is a concept for a compact SUV powered by a new plug-in hybrid EV system (PHEV). The Outlander PHEV Concept-S is a concept based on the Outlander PHEV, the world's first PHEV four-wheel drive SUV. Joining these on the MMC's stand will be a number of MMC cars produced in and sold in the China market, bringing the total of exhibits up to 15.

The press conference will be held on April 20 at 11:30a.m. at the MMC booth (Hall 5-1).
