Natalia Mileshkina appointed Leader of Financial Services practice at PwC Russia
Natalia Mileshkina has been a partner at PwC Russia since 2007. Her areas of professional specialisation have included conducting audits and due diligence reviews as well as consulting on diverse matters for PwC Russia’s key financial sector clients, including leading banks, real estate companies, investment firms and leasing companies across the Finance, Insurance, Real Estate (FIRE) segment.
Natalia has many years of experience in client projects and engagements involving securitisation, IPOs and Eurobond issues, as well as business consulting and risk management.

Professional profile
Natalia Mileshkina has earned two higher degrees, one in a technical discipline and the other in the field of economics. First, in 1996, she graduated from the Ustinov Baltic State Technical University in St Petersburg with a degree in Automated Aircraft Guidance Systems. Then, in 1997, she earned an additional degree from St Petersburg State University in International Economics.
Natalia began her 20-year career with PwC Russia in 1995 when she joined the firm’s St Petersburg office while still a university student. She has invested significant time and energy in developing our FS practice, particularly our work with Russia’s banking sector. Her clients have included major state-owned and private Russian banks, as well as leading international financial institutions. As a result of her efforts, she was named head of the audit practice for banks and financial institutions at the firm’s St Petersburg office.
In 2006, having already been promoted to director, she transferred to PwC Russia’s Moscow office; in 2007, she was made a partner in the firm’s Assurance Financial Services (FS) practice.
Over her career, Natalia has worked with a wide range of international financial services companies with an active presence in Russia. As well, she has significant experience in conducting audits, both statutory audits under Russian Accounting Standards (RAS) and audits under International Financial Reporting Standards. (IFRS).
Natalia is a member of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA, UK), holds a Russian audit license to conduct audits of banks and commercial entities, and is a member of the Audit Chamber of Russia, the self-regulatory organisation (SRO) for the Russian audit industry.
